Our Story

How one little girl's faith continues to point hearts to Jesus.

We believe Bella's story is best told in our own words. Thank you for taking a few minutes to hear how Believe Like Bella began and why we believe God is continuing to use Bella's life to bring hope to others.

Bella’s Story

Bella lived a full life, even if she was only here for 1,515 days or a little over four years. Born on St. Patrick's Day in 2022, she quickly developed a personality that was larger than life. The expressions on her face, and the way she'd look at you with her eyes, and her perfectly timed reactions could make us laugh without warning.

More than anything, Bella loved Jesus.

She never questioned whether Jesus loved her—she simply believed it.

She loved spending time with her friends at Southland Christian Church on Sundays, and at her daycare located at Bethel Harvest Church. Every night, our family would gather to pray together, usually in her big sister Boston’s room, along with Mom and Dad. Since Bella liked to stay up a little later, we'd tuck Boston into bed first, then pray with Bella again in her room before she watched Blippi or Switched on Netflix. Those ordinary moments became some of our most treasured memories.

Believe Like Bella was born while planning Bella's funeral.

I wanted every part of the service to reflect who Bella was. I felt called to write her obituary and shared a personal message during her service. I had pre-corded my part because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to deliver it, but I felt God calling me to tell people something Bella already knew with complete confidence in the flesh:

Jesus loves them.

Before discovering Bella had passed in her sleep the morning of June 14, 2026, I never imagined my story was worth while to share or witness to others. But after my little girl went to heaven before Mom and Dad, God began changing that perspective. If Bella's life can help someone discover the hope found in Jesus, or help another parent feel less alone in their grief, then her story is still making ripples long after her time on earth.

That is why Believe Like Bella exists.

Not simply to remember Bella.

But to continue sharing the hope she believed with all her heart.

Every act of kindness creates another ripple.
